Exclamation Not hitting powerband properly and bogging after service

Hi I have a 2015 ec300 which I did a service on including air filter, gear box oil, coolant, spark plug but straight grafter serice I rode the bike which just didn?t feel right at all straight away sounded deeper than is usually would, won?t hit the powerband as aggressively as it usually would and if I let the revs get too low I have to fight to get them back up otherwise it will bog out. I?m thinking it would be an air problem as that?s what it sounds and feels like but it ran perfect before, is there any way I could have put the air filter on wrong or would you ever need to adjust the air screw after putting a clean filter on? Could I have over-oiled the filter possibly?

Also I have the choke on my handlebar which I could pull in before but seems to be too stiff to pull in now so could also be a problem with that but I?m unsure if it was already like that the last time I rode or not so I?m quite lost with it because it should have just been a simple service but I?m fairly new to carbed 2 strokes as all of my other bikes have been 4 stroke injected.

Thanks for any help I appreciate it.

That's indicating the cable is hung up out of its holder. Disconnect the lever and pull the cable. You should hear the clunk as the choke hits the seat upon release.

there are many threads here about removing the cable choke for this reason. disconnect it at the carb and see if your problem has been resolved, then add a std choke pull on the carb
