Engine year identification
Split the cases on my EC250 and I'm needing the center case gasket. From what is available, there is the '04 and older and '05 and newer. I need to know what year I have so I can buy the proper gasket. Engine number is EC25 0104037183. Is there any why by looking at the cases? If so, pics would be really helpful. Please, someone help me out here!

Left side cover (ignition cover) shape changed at the same time as the centercases so it's easy to ID. I'll try and attach pics but the pre 05 cases used a cover with a rounded top where the counterbalancer area used to be. 05 and newer style uses a more compact cover with a flat spot on top. First pic is 05 style.

This is the older pre 05 style cover/cases. This is an 02 model

PJ, thank you! With that info I have narrowed my engine down to somewhere between '02-'04. That should be good enough to get any parts I need!
