KX250 IMS tank

Hi To all, does anybody now if the 99-02 KX250 IMS long range tank would fit an 02 EC300 or if it could be massaged with a heat gun to fit. There is great deal on a new tank at a local Kawa shop.

I remember seeing a while back, that it would fit.

Fill the tank with boiling water and shove into place.

I tried the kx tank on my 97, it fit but the shrouds wouldnt come close. The rads on the gg's are way bigger than the kx, or just positioned different. Cant remember what year my kx tank was from,,

I think the KX shrouds would look awesome on the GG. Get black ones of course. You could get custom graphics printed to fit the kx shrouds and have a very unique look.

Or you could buy green fenders and a KDX headlight, with white side panels and make it look like a KX. But with custom, greeen Gas Gas graphics.
