The shaft can't be real good if the bearings are that bad, include a pic of it as well. Weird, those bearings just don't usually fail, in any bike. Not that expensive though, for the 125 anyway it was not much more than $100 and in stock at Dixie at the time.

The damaged bearing came off the right side.
