2013 300e racing. Ignition key bypass. Anyone?
Has anyone bypassed the ignition key to hardwire the electric start? Can't find any posts on it. Still awaiting my owners manual. Snapped mine off and just want to bypass the key. Cheers if anyone can help out.

there is a 4 pin connector behind the light, connect the red and black. you can verify by pulling the connector and putting a continuity tester on the two pins and pressing the start button. The Race does not use battery except for the starter (maybe the brake light) everything else runs off the stator - so no battery drain just leaving the switch on all the time or shorting the ignition wires.

I just got a new 2012 ec250 and when the key is on the tail light is on. Im thinking a on/off switch like quads have would be better than a key. And mounted where most bikes have the kill button....
