What should i replace ... 04 300 ec
Ok so the bikes engine took in a load of muddy water. Took the head off and the barrel had a layer of mud coated inside ...
Cleaned the piston and barrel and there fine thou the power valve rod pin had snapped so the valve had not been opening fully ... The bottom end has also seen some water not a lot because when i drained the trans fluid there was no water in there. You can feel muck in the rod bearing when moving the rod back and forth so what do i do ? Wash the bottom end out ? if so what do i use ? or remove the engine and do a complete rebuild inc crank bearing ? If the latter were can i get all the bearing inc the crank bearing in the uk without being ripped off ? |
