Hi, I am looking at ordering the 5.5" longer KTM T3 cable, but my 2011 EC300 carb doesnt have threads that I can recall. Cable just pops in.
Am I missing something? Will this cable work?

The the carb cap has a threaded insert that you remove(brass piece).
The Motion Pro has the threaded end made on to it that screws into the carb cap. |

I found the t3 has way more free play adjustment than the stock cable and due to the stock cable being (imho) about 1cm too short it was effecting idle at full adjustment. The t3 also seals better on the carb cap.
Since using the t3 I have dropped my pilot and maintain a perfect idle, I could not do this before installing the new cable. Me happy.

Anyone knows if the stock 08-11 KTM 300/250 is longer than the GG ? Not Motion Pro one but actual one from KTM.

I've been running the T3 cables for a while. Make sure you put some silicon on the rubber boot at the carb end. Otherwise the poor fit will allow dirt and water to get in.
