Kickstart
I know this has been discussed many times on this forum, but I couldn't find an answer for my year of bike.
I have an 08 EC 300 and wondered if anybody had replaced the kickstart with the 09 YZ 250 item part no. 5NX-15620-00. I have seen threads with the YZ part fitted to older bikes, but not to an 08 model. I assume it will fit, as the engines have changed little year to year, but would like a definitive answer before I shell out the money. Can anybody help? Thanks.

As far as I know, all GG EC200/250/300 kickstarts have the same splines. When my 06 EC200 kick broke off, I replaced it by the new GG 13 model kickstart.
