any off you guys that have done the conversion got a seat laying about to fit a 03 ec300, im sure my one is about a inch to sort and does not fit and is popping off at the front on the tank

Could you rivit a piece of ally sheet where it fits under the tank, to extend it? I have a spare seat for my EC that has had this whole area cut away, so was going to try repairing it.
