I fully agree. Lots of aftermarket parts, lots of used parts available. No problem keeping the bikes going.
If you take a look at my .sig, you will see that bikes with minimal support (in the way of factories, dealers and parts) are no strangers to my workshop :-)

the parts supply for current models (2012 onwards) is no longer a issue here in the uk. Was a bit rubbish for a few months but all sorted now.

It's reassuring to see over 700 views and 3 pages of responses on this thread, with all being a very possible nature toward where GasGas is at and headed. Seems to be the GasGas crowd has high consumer confidence and that's about as positive a sign as there is for GasGas future success.

I read an article last night in the enduro21 magazine where they interviewed GasGas R&D man Miki Arpa. All I can say is, wow! Impressive and confidence inspiring with sure footed well thought out vision. I now have little doubt GasGas will be a solid player for years to come.

Check out the article on page 71:

I think visit to my local dealer is on tap tomorrow!

I am still struggling to find reviews on the '17's. Can anyone confirm if there were a few factory fixes on the '15 before they sent them out for '17? Starters?

I'm definitely interested in the 2018 EC300.
Not so much the 2017.

If I had the spare cash laying around, I'd scoop a '17 in a heartbeat. I have a 2012 XC250es and it's been a very solid workhorse of a bike & has been the best dirtbike I've ever owned.
The 2017 is a much refined version of the 2012, so I'd have no trouble owning one.

2017 is probably a fine bike; the 18 has the potential to be even better
Just have to wait and see.

Agree. Old good engine, proven design chassis.

Agree as well. A really solid woods bike. Love the motor and seems to be very at home in the technical terrain.

Huge discount as well and nearly $2000 less than a KTM!-

The '18 sure does look right sexy in race trim. When are they supposed to hit the US?
