Default dyna ring install ?

anyone have any problems setting/getting the internal gap set right on the dyna ring ?... If i take out one clutch friction and steel it works perfect.. Alan is going to send me another 2 mm thick washer to stack on the other one . He said i need all the clutches in there.. I had all the washers in there last night and was just starting to get gap...
he said the measurement he got was from a 2010 gg for the washer and mine is an 01, but i dont see any diff in the clutches anyway.. just wondering.. Alan is very helpful... very good service...

Thumbs up

I was one of the guinea pigs for the GG's. I first started with a Magura Master Cylinder, and had nothing but problems. Then Allen came up with the window fix for our MC's and things went better. Make sure U back bleed the clutch. This is key.
Allen sent me the shims and a new knob with a packet of special grease. The grease eases the turning of the adjustment knob and lubes the O-ring. He actually walked me thru the adjustment over the phone. Good luck. Let us know how U like it.

the instructions now have 2 different ways to set the end gap... the way you are talking about is done externally, i am trying internally...I think it will work great and the internally adjustment, the clutch lever feels the same and no adjustment knob on the master... Once i got a gap on the pressure plate it worked perfect, but i had to take one friction and 1 steel out to get that...
i think with the extra washer under the pressure plate it will be fine..

feels really wierd to be setting on the 300.. in gear... idling... no clutch in.. as soon as you pick up the throttle , it starts moving.. Cant wait to try it out. we are riding some serious single track.. Big rocks.. Stalled it last ride and luckily i fell on a VW sized rock, and did not fall about 20' down to the next set of rocks...

I'm almost positive Revloc has the LHRB. Call Allen at Revloc.

well.... after numerous tries on the dyna ring.... i gave up and sent the entire clutch to alan at revloc.. he confirmed that i was not nuts (on this particular problem any way) and the ring would not fit my basket... not sure why.. he is going to make the dyna ring fit my basket and send back...(the ring diameter is bigger than my frictions..)
he apologized about the problem and told me he will issue a partial refund once it is all done.. I think it will be way cool on the 300.. And hopefully it will move directly to the newer 300 i will be getting soon if i like it..

top notch guys....

02/10/2011 5:10 A.M. Out For Delivery

my clutch tracking....

they dont know for sure where it is... it may be on a truck, it may be at the hub......i told them i would come get it.. they are posed to call me within the hour
the bad thing... ups was at my house on 2-10 with a delivery.. it was more than likely on that truck... what can brown do for you ? make me miss a mud ride...

now they are saying they may not unload those trailers until friday....I am not taking that for an answer....

i guess i am taking that for an answer.. no one at ups gives a crap about any kind of customer concerns... my luck they will probably run over it with the truck.... I will NEVER send another part of mine on ups...... garbage...
