Hi, and thanks for the replies. My bike has 14:50 gearing, the gnarly pipe, and carbon vforce cage and reeds, The problem im having is getting an Ltr jetting kit, I have emailed Les on several occasions at Lt racing but with no reply, the problem is I live in Wales UK. Could any body help me get hold of 1. and will an oversize pv cover really make a difference?

One issue on power is the gearing,, that will make it feel flatter.. The stock is 13-48 which is very tall and good for a ds,, a 300 should have 13-48to 50 to get the right feel. There is another thread on gearing a 300.. I dont know how hard it would be to get the ltr needle in the uk.. can you get the jd kits there?

Note: My 03 250ec w/13:48 gearing topped out at 87 mph, so 14/50 should be around 95+?

Drop the front sprocket down to a 13 if you really want to hold on for dear life.

IME the LTR "jet kit" and the CCK needle smooth out the power delivery while the N1EF provides more of a hit. I prefer a smooth power delivery as it doesn't tire me out as much.

13:50 works fine on my 250 but i am not sure about a 300. Still it would be cheap to try. Also, i found the Powervlave cover to make a big difference. As for getting those parts go through Gofasters.com

I run 13/49 on my 300. It's perfect for the kind of riding I like to do and it'll go 75 according to my enduro comp. That's faster than I really need to be going.

75 is fast on a dirt bike. Although they seem to get to 60 really fast as well.

I thought the power valve cover to be a nice add on!!!
and loose the 14 up front, that sounds monster tall. Put a 13 on there.

Will do, I'll put a 13 on the front and leave the 50 on the back. As for it topping 95 it doesnt, it tops out at 80, but thats on the sand,( quite wobbly). Thanks to all for the advise, I have just purchased the N1EF needle, just need the 250 cdi now and a lighter fly wheel. Are the flywheel weights welded or bolted on the ec300, (theres always the grinder).

Depends on what igntion you are running. If you are running the 2K3 then you will not be able to lighten it up without a new flywheel nless shipped off to a realy doog machinest who can keep the balance.
