Default New GasGas owner 2009 450FSR

Been browsing for the last week and have learned quite a bit but def have to search harder to find info on GG then other big name brands.

Is anyone here running an oversize tank and if so how does it compare to stock tank, ergonomics, weight shifting, etc? The bike I picked up came with a Safari 3.7 gal and its just a monster. Its so wide and really makes the bike want to sway on tighter terrain. I swapped it out for the factory tiny tank as of now but hoping to put a tank size in between factory and the monster it had but don't think I can handle an aftermarket tank that has such a wide profile.

What have you swapped too and whats your experience with it? Mostly desert riding and single track in Arizona.
