Default 2011 ec125 Six Days [Jetting]

What have you guys been running for jetting on a 2011 ec125. This is a new six days that has a ASII 38mm carb on it. Jetting on it right now is
170 main
40 pilot
n3cw needle 2nd clip position
1.5 air screw

Bike starts and idles good. Takes off and feels good at low rpm. If you get into the throttle it starts to die out real bad like its real lean in the mid. Seems to run good on the top end once you get it there. This is about the same jetting that I have been running in the 250's and 300's with good luck. Does the 125 require totally different jetting?

elevation about 4,000 ft.
air temp=65'F.

On two of our older 125s we installed KX125 35mm carbs and they work great and are easy to jet.

Default 2011 ec125 Six Days [Jetting]

I run my 125 with the following jetting

Main jet 185 to 195
Pilot jet 48 to 50
Air screw 2 rotation out
Needle NOZI
2. Clip position
Slide no 9
PWK38
All depends on the temperature I'm riding

The small engines requires bigger jets than the bigger ones.

Smaller capacity, less displacement, results in less signal (or volume of air charge being pulled into the cases for every stroke).. which in turn picks up less fuel and thus requires larger jets .

Thanks guys! Haven't messed with it yet. Just wanted to get some general ideas for a good starting point. I'll let you know what I end up with.
