Am I correct in assuming the 2011 and 2010 EC's have the same plastic

Yes. Only difference is the headlight.

Front fender is also different. It also has a different method of fitting- has a plastic bracket

Thanks, That's OK I have a Yamaha front end on my bike anyway.
