Does 2011 Hyde Combo Plate fit 2012? The answer is...

After some time away from dirt bikes due to family issues I'm back on the GG site and I wanted to knock out one question for GMP: Does the 2011 version of the Hyde skid plate/pipe guard combo fit on the 2012 GG? I took the drive up to MotoAdventure Kawasaki/GasGas today and tried a brand new Hyde on the 2012 and it appears to fit pretty snugly and closely (not pictures, sorry). I did NOT check the mounting holes as their 2012 was fully prepped with the stock glide plate. I would have no hesitation on mounting this thing up to a 2012 myself even if I had to modify mounting holes. Thanks to Chris and the gang up there at MotoAdventure for letting me dry fit the guard as they have always been super nice to talk to and deal with!!! Check them out if you want a 2012 300 kicker but they only have one left!!

Thank You Eric! Thats great, I figured on making up an adapter plate/bar with captive nuts or clip nuts that would stay mounted to the frame tabs. This would make R&R easy. The biggest issue would be the pipe to frame relationship, that is would they both snug up together as intended. Mark at Gofasters has been agreed to send me one for a test fit as well. I will fit one if its possible to do clean and without a major hack, and report back of course.
