Default Photos from this weekends ride - Washington State

Here are some photos from my ride yesterday.
Bike ran great. Rode from 3000ft - 6500ft and never touched my Lectron Carb once!!!

Taking a break at the top of Windy Pass. Also letting bike cool as the switch backs up were completely rutted and radiator started to boil over....

Well no turning back now.... I kept saying don't look down, don't look down.

Those logs are to keep from going over the edge....

Once on top the view was not too bad.....

Like I said the bike ran great and the suspension was absorbing logs and rocks like nothing.
My current only complaint is how to keep the top portion of the rad shrouds from coming out of the rubber gromlets???

Great pics. I've spent the last couple of weeks in the high country. I was on foot...being a skeeter happy meal.

I did start out solo then joined a small group of guys. I know solo not the best but was out mainly to clear my head and tinker with bike and get my LHRB all set up!!!

Couple shots from Saturday's ride. We rode some very gnarly technical trails full of rocks, tree roots, and snow.

This photo at just over 6000ft with Mt Rainier (14,409ft) in the background.

Bike ran great. Thanks to Lectron carb, 24oz S3 flywheel wt, Rekluse Basket with full EXP, LHRB Setup (my all time absolute favorite), G2 Ergonomics throttle tube with #200 Cam, FMF Gnarly Pipe w/ LeoVince muffler and last but not least new Aluminum Subframe and Seat.

I almost forgot the best highlight of the ride.

Was on narrow rocky single track trail and next to a cliff and came eye to eye (roughly 15+/- yards) from 2 of these....

Mountain Goats.
My first seeing one of these in the wild. I never knew how big they could get and yet go straight up or down a vertical cliff.

Thats pretty cool.

Look at all that smooth linear power you have Stu. Flywheel weights, G2 cams.. She must almost feel like a lounge chair!
