Default 2015 Silencer Mod Help Needed

I have read about guys cutting there FMF Silencer and when I look at mine it is HUGE ! So I am going to cut a bit off and wanted to hear what your results have been . Sound does it get a lot louder ? Less sponge , running cleaner / better ? Looks that will get better . Up high weight I am considering going down at least 4 inchs around 10 cm . I will rejet as needed since the stock jetting is off anyway . Thanks for your help !

Ever think about just buying a House of Horsepower silencer? Then you can keep your stock silencer in OEM condition for events that require a spark arrestor. They are much shorter and lighter and give a nice power boost.

That was the link I was looking for , thanks . I do not think there is a spark arrester on this silencer ? I do ride mostly in the woods that can be real dry at times so maybe I should put a silencer with a s/a on it . There was a 400 acre forest fire this weekend in our area SO maybe a s/a silencer is in order ?

If it's the stocker it's a SA. Look for three things - a sticker that says Q Stealth, engraving that says Spark Arrestor, and rivets about three inches from the exit end that hold the turbine in.

No s/a on the '15 bikes.
Just a Powercore 2.

Cut n Ready to jet , I believe there may be a spark arrestor made for this silencer . Otherwise I will have to get a silencer with a s/a just looking forward to how this one will sound and run .

The Q Stealth is the same size as the Powercore, just 2" longer.

I contacted ProMotoBillet to see if they had a s/a end cap that would fit, they said no.

Bud racing carbon-fiber silencer makes a big improvement.
