I am ass whooped! I worked some muscles today I haven't used in a long time. Very happy with the WR450. It handled waaaayyyyyy better than I was expecting. A pleasant surprise. I didn't even set the sag. I need to swap out the springs, so I didn't bother. WR was cutting and tracking and just eating up the chop. Motor is really sweet. Bog is gone. Too big a gap b/t 2nd and 3rd gear, so I think a 1 tooth larger rear sprocket will fix that. Very satisfied with the purchase. Now I just need to get my ass in shape.

You know where it is and we would love to ride with you again. It has turned into a kind of death march the last couple of years.Last year we left in the morning with about 50 at lunch only about 15 came in with the leader. After lunch only the 15 hardy soles went back out with Jim and I that is when Jim REALLY cranked it up.I bailed out in the last 10 or so miles with not a sole in site.Jim was already back at camp ready to go home.It was another 20 minuets before anyone else showed.

I was planing to run my helmet cam so if you cant make it I can get you a cope but its not like realy being there.

Sweet, riding more will take that soreness right out

You mentioned Tali. I have some bad news the lunch/gas stop at Muse is closing on the 1st so there is nowhere to get gas.You mite want to get a large tank for a trip up there.

Gasser, do I know you??? Sound familar but I just can't connect the dots....

Butler,
That store was pretty cool, they had a lot of shit in there. Probably save Talimena for next year. I don't think my buddy from Colorado is going to make it down.

What is your work schedule b/t X-mas and New Years?

I'm Ken Wyatt. I was in ADR from 2004-2006 while I was stationed at Little Rock AFB. I usually sat with Chris Butler at the meetings. I rode with Chris and Jim Cook at Trainrobbers every chance I got. Five tours in Uncle Sam's sandbox kept me out of the country a lot.

Ken, I don't believe we have met. I'm sure we will soon. I consider Butler and the Cook family close friends of mine, so any friend of theirs, is a friend of mine.

Butler, I was hoping to get up there and ride during the week. Like I did a few years ago with my camper. Maybe get to your house on wed night the 30th, ride Thurs and Friday.

I don't know why I assumed you were off. I've been so used to having the week b/t xmas and New years off every year, that I think everyone else does too. Wife is making noise that she wants me home on New Years Eve. It's just noise at this point, so it might go away.

We will just see what it looks like closer to xmas. Who knows, your boss might surprise ya'll with some days off leading up to New Years.
