Didn't see any other place for an intro. Just picked up an 04 FSE 450 SM. It's stripped down to it's basics. Since it was just used as a stunt bike. It does have the Ohlins forks. I bought it for a track bike. Don't know if I can get a title or not yet. Haven't checked. Look forward to what the bike is capable of and enjoying the reading that is already here. Hopefully I will be able to contribute information now that I own a GasGas.

Welcome! I was watching those bikes on the auction site and thought they would be an interesting project! The shipping was a problem, though. Good luck and keep us posted on what you do with it!

Here are a few pics of when I picked it up. I do need to get a few bits for it yet. Already in contact with an Ohlins supplier for the fatman springs and shock that is required. I am not a small person. I am looking for a front brake set up and new bars. Then rebuild the suspension. Should be ready to go after that. Looking forward to a few track days with it. Hopefully I can get it on the street as well.
