Default Just bought a lectron carb

Hey guys

Just purchased a second hand lectron power jet carb off eBay.
Carb was taken off a 250 can-am and is stamped 38 but has what looks like a brass collar on the airbox side any ideas?

Just wondering if anyone in here can set these things up for me to get the best out of my little ec200?

Cheers
Ken

Get a hold of Kelly here: http://www.motosportz.com/ He should be able to assist with getting it set up. Or here: http://www.lectronfuelsystems.com/

Thank for that.
Just sent an email to the lectron site, would love to be able to set it up under my own steam but it's all to new to me.

I was pondering purchasing a new carb but was quoted 340 pounds and to be fair that's a lot of money but the seller did mention a "modification to spigot and bell housing?" Any ideas what that would be? He also recommended 36mm but I think what I have bought is 38mm.

Cheers
Ken

If you do manage to find a 36mm would you part with the 38mm? Would go a treat on my 300 :P

Wondering if you installed the lectron and if so how it is working. Curious the effect on the 200 as I am looking at the same thing.

This will be the brass coupling you have on yours. Hopefully it can be easily removed. Shouldn't be that much effort.

38mm shouldn't be an issue on a 200. Just get it on song and enjoy the top end. I tested with a 38mm Lectron on my 250. IMO it ran better than I could ever get my 38mm billet Smart Carb to run (but they have updated a few things since then too). I'm back using a 38mm PWK AS2. Each have their pro's and con's.

Sound like it the "power ring" listed as an extra from lectron

I have the 38mm on my 300, very responsive
