Is the flywheel nut a left hand thread on my 300?
manuals are somewhat unclear. Can someone confirm this before I start applying some real force?

No, it should be a right hand thread if you are talking about the nut that holds on the magnets of the stator.
The nut that holds on the clutch basket is a Left hand thread. At least that's the way it is on 06-10 |

Not on any GG I have worked on from '00 to '07. All mainshaft threads are right hand (conventional). Flywheel is also right hand. The crank pinion nut is a left hand thread. |

Pinion GEAR, on end of crank that drives the clutch, water pump and PV.
