Thanks jake , i currently have n1ef , nedw, cek and cck with the cck in at the moment , i think my bike is running a bit hot with this needle as it there was coolent leaking from the overflow , but that may be to do with fitting the rekluse and trying to trials ride it , to my eyes the cek looks very lean but very progressive ,not sure about the cck as its in the bike at the moment , the nedw looks to be more linear than the n1ef , so im going to try the nedw for a bit today to see how that pans out, any thoughts on carb setup with that needle.
im off to wales in the morning so id like it to be right , any maintenance on the trail with a gas gas starts the ktm hyeenas with thier gas gas unreliability jokes

40 NEDW#3/2 175/172 main. Should have it zippin around no worries. Seeing as you have the 40 and 175 in there already I'd just start with clip 2 for a test ride. Move to clip 2 if it feels too rich. Then after your weekend decide if you want to drop the main.

Not sure on the root diameter of the CCK but if the bike idles high when you put the NEDW in don't freak out immediately thinking its lean. Simply try to back the idle down to a good level.

Oops.. Start with clip 3.. Then move to 2..

Can you still get the slide out with the tank off? Or is it a remove the whole carb every time deal on the 2012s??

Sweet. Guess thats a bonus then that you can have a play with the jets that are already in there. I dread having to turn the carb to access the jets through the plug. Bugger having to pull the whole thing every time!
