The Nambotin Replica 2010 Thread

I have one on order and am counting down the days. I'd like this thread to be used to share all pertinent information about the 2010 Nambotin.
Hopefully other owners can chime in after they get their bikes and we can swap jetting specs, suspension settings and other mods.

I talked to Dave Fair today , and the Nambo's have SHIPPED ! They left this last weekend so........more than likely if all goes well and there's no rail strike or customs issues or dock workers on strike and and and and ..... about 3 weeks

the waiting is killing me...I am even dreaming that I am riding it. It was really weird...the bike wasn't making any noise because of the Qstealth and then I looped out. Just had to share. Steve knows I am good at looping out

hi guys just thought id join the thread just bought my nambo replica #146. dont get it for a few weeks but im super stoked decided to buy one because i rode my buddys 2010 250 six days and thought it was just an amazing machine and this is what i ended up with!

well i ordered a hyde combo skid plate and scorpion rad braces, there supposed to be coming out with the front covers this fall so ill get those then, i also ordered some new style cycra hand guards and bike bonz mounts(there awesome for your handguards and look cool too!) the dealer selling me the bike is going to jet it for me, were at 5000 feet in calgary here so he got a jd kit for it. ive also ordered some fastway pegs cause im so used to them now its wierd riding on small pegs.

A note for you on the Hyde , it does have a LOT of room under it. It was meant for a 09 bike , and the 10's have a different shape pipe on them. It fits the frame ok but the space under the pipe is huge. The 2010 pipes have a way tighter bend in them. What i did and it seems to have worked out very well , is i heated up the Hyde under the pipe and frame joint on the Hyde with a heat gun and then used my floor jack to bend the Hyde up till the space was satisfactory to me. It takes a lot of slow heating and you leave the pipe clamps loose till its cool in the new bend and then tighten them up. Has held its new shape very well after 3 good long rides. It does take some time and you got to go slow and dont force it , but mine turned out good. My pipe has no stress on it after doing this , so im happy with how it worked out
