Default Cost of a new 07 EC300? What did you pay?

You guys who bought new 2007 EC300's. What did you pay for them if you don't mind me asking?

I'm thinking about a used or new leftover 07 300 if the tax man is nice to me this year. If he's REALLY nice maybe a new 08 but I'm concerned about what the MSO/title will read about off road use only.

Thanks,

Skidad in MA

The new MSO's have "for off road use only" printed on the VERY BOTTOM of the MSO

First, thanks FURY. Even in 06 not cheap.

Berkyboy (Steve), why did you put in bold on the "VERY BOTTOM" of the page. Do you feel it's something that could be missed by the registry/DMV or umm....er...altered in some way.

I need a registered bike for sure here in N.E.

I wouldn't concern myself too much with what others paid for a then current machine. We're talking leftovers so dealer pricing should be much more aggressive. Also in your corner is the competition. Honda has some form of unadvertised dealer incentives on leftover '06 and '07s. ($4,000 OTD for an '06 250X - yikes) KTM pricing is already very low on the '08s. ($5,200 OTD for an '08 200XC) Good luck.

I think we can use Orange bikes as a gauge.

I'm thinking in the vicinity of $5K this summer.
