Default while im at it.....

im going to send my forks off to be serviced, so the bike will be up on the stand for a while, so what should i take apart/change/service/check while its up? i expect the forks to be gone for about 5 days, so is there anything i should be doing?

Absolutely take the triple clamps apart and grease the steering head bearings. Then take the subframe off and clean the heck out of the airbox. Next take the linkage apart and grease it. Take the swingarm off next and grease those bearings. When you put everything back together, pack some grease under the seals (you can do this without removing them) on your wheel bearings. If it moves, grease it. Use some chain lube on your kickstarter pivot too.

All points that roostafish have made are good. Usually done in the winter but if your bike is down fly at her.
Do one end at a time so you don't get overwhelmed.

Make sure you use a good quality water proof grease like Motorex.

Default Bearing lube

For the swingarm, linkage and steering stem bearings, I like to use a blend of waterproof grease and anti-seize.
