Riding sand at the moment.

Temp was 12-15degs.

MJ: 172
PJ: 42
Needle: NEDW clip #2

Having changed from 175mj to a 172mj made a massive difference, bike feels like it's got nitrous now in the top half of throttle. Also runs nice and clean.
I have bought a Beta 200rr that will become the bush bike now so I can devote this Gasgas to wide open sand etc.

Moved out to Arizona, took a while to get a good jetting setup here.

Bike: 1999 EC200. Original PWK 38 AS-I carb.

Altitude: 2000-3000 feet (Phoenix area - New River, Wildcat, Mile Markers, etc.)
Temperature: 50-90 F. Generally low humidity, even on cooler days.

Main: 172
Pilot: 42
Needle: R1470M, 4th clip
Slide: #7
air screw: 1.5 turns out

Bike pulls clean and crisp off the bottom, though it's a little lean on overrun. I might try a 45 pilot and a little more air screw to clean things up on colder days.

I'm running, pretty consistently, 1 step leaner settings out here than I was at sea level on the east coast. And that goes for every bike in my stable, not just the GG. The dry air and the elevation seem to make a difference.

Doc,

I was thinking the same setting for Sea level in UK. Is the setting good for WOT on mx tracks or stick with 175 main with NECH?
