Default instrument cluster/multifunction

2005 FSE450
I put my gauge assembly into a tree this weekend. Left a piece of the headlight cowl embedded in the tree

The multifunction is a total loss and a Trailtech unit is probably in my future.
Can I use the stock speedo pickup with the trailtech? Would replacing the stock display with a Trailtech Endurance mess up anything else on the bike?

Ouch! That's gotta hurt.

I can't imagine anything in the bike electrics beeing dependant on the instrument. Does the endurance computer have inidicator lights for oil pressure/fuel level etc?

This was my 2nd time on singletrack, and it was greasy and wet. Learning is hard

The endurance does not come with indicator lights, however they sell an addon that has signal indicators and the like
http://trailtech.net/indicator_dashboards.html

I only ask about the cluster being tied in with everything else (altho unlikely) because on my Ducati the ECU, cluster, and immobilizer all have to be replaced if anything happens to one of them

The stock pickup for the speedo works fine. Too bad about losing out on the other instruments though.

I have an older unit that only reads in KM. It doesn't look the same as yours, but you can have it if you want it.
