06 300 jetting

2006 ec300 I have taken part the carb and have found the following

needle NIEF clip on 3rd position
185 for the main jet
42 for the pilot jet
#7 slide

bike was set up for winter riding when I got it,got hurt in the spring and didnt use it till fall when the temps were down,the bike always runs great down low and idles fine,but still need to clean it out when you get to a straightaway,now that the temps are in the high 80s and humid it worse than ever,thinking of dropping the main to a 175 and check it out,may even drop the clip one notch,I fouled a plug today and luckily it was right back at my truck,dont want it too happen during the next race,might even call les for his kit if the lower main doesnt fix it

Kevin, I think I'd try the 180 main first and maybe raise the clip if you need too.
