The 2010 line up looks really nice, 250F made the lineup...not too bad. did not see a 515? The black plastic looks neat, but will be trashed very quickly.the red fork tubes and hubs, gold sprocket makes for a eye catching ride..for sure...now to get back to collecting plastic bottles for a 2010 EC200 dressed in white

GasGas USA would like to announce the United State's GasGas dealer convention and 2010 model debut for the weekend of August 29th, 30th, and 31st to be held in conjuction with the 8th round of the 10 round OMA series in Bedford, Indiana.

According to GasGas US importer Dale Malesek GasGas will have on display some of the new 2010 enduro, trial and atv models to be viewed by the US press, dealers and the general public during the OMA's Saturday (29th) and Sunday (30th) racing schedules.

Interested new dealers and current US dealers will meet on Monday (31st) for their formal dealer meeting.

Some of the featured 2010 GasGas enduro machines that will be on hand are the GG FSR450 (4-stroke), the EC250 (2-stroke) and EC250 Racing (2-stroke). The EC 2-strokes will feature a new frame, new plastic along with many other enhancements.

Also on hand will be the radical new 450 quad and the soon to be EPA approved DOT street legal FSR’s and Supermotard machines. The new line up of trials bike will be on hand as well to complete the GasGas lineup.

If your interested in attending or want to know more about becoming a US dealer or a new member of the GasGas group of friends, please contact Malesek at GasGas USA (http://www.gasgas.com) or Mark Berg at http://www.gofasters.com or call 877-363-8767 for more information.

When will the specs come out! Do we have to wait until the end of August. That's just mean to let pics out and no details.I need to know what shock and forks they have on them and all the other little things that make us dig deep into our pockets.I'm really liking the 2010 might be time to upgrade the 07 to a 10.

This off the Gas Gas UK web site:

The EC RANGE have had quite ‘facelift’ from 09 with some big changes you will see below. The new frame is stunning and they now have a complete new, more modern look with the latest plastics etc. The 2010 Sachs suspension is also a BIG improvement.

The ‘EC’ models are fully homologated as normal for road use with the ‘certificate of conformity’ etc. These models come fully homologated and are supplied with the various parts needed for ‘race use’.

A few months ago GGUK launched a ‘Cross Country’ model with various parts missing (lights, stand, speedo etc) for the customers that only use their bikes for cross country events etc. to basically improve the price. (These are still available at a fantastic RRP £4769.99)

For 2010 the GG Factory will produce the ‘Cross Country’ as a standard model but it will retain the lights, speedo, sidestand etc and will come ‘ready to race’ with no homologated parts but no ‘certificate of conformity’. THIS is the model that will be perfect for the UK because it will still be possible to register these models for road use.

Some countries need the fully homologated EC models whereas some countries (UK included) will benefit with the CC model because they will be the same bike but better priced and still be able to register them for the road

New frame with 'microfusion' frame rails
New 2010 spec. sachs forks in red.
New plastics, mudguards, rad panels etc.
New stickers
Coloured parts (Yokes, hubs, rims etc.)
New one piece tank in dark grey colour
New wavy discs
New rear brake pedal
New water pump cover

The EC RACING will have;
Different setting forks with 1.5mm hole in compression valve (2mm in std. forks)
Ohlins rear shock
FMF silencer
Galfer wavy discs
white plastics
Racing sticker design

GG will also launch their new 250 4-stroke with the reliable YAMAHA WR250F engine with electric start !

You may also have seen that the Spanish company ‘Rieju’ have also produced a 2504T with a Yam engine. This bike will infact be built by GG and is basically the Yamaha 4t engine in the ‘09 GG bike re-badged as a ‘Rieju Marathon’.

The actual GAS GAS EC250F will have the new spec 2010 frame, suspension and plastics etc.

GAS GAS have also re-launched the ‘Pampera’ Trail bike which is 100% a Rieju ‘Tango’ that Gas Gas have just re-badged. This ‘funky’ little trail bike with the bombproof 125 4stroke Yam engine could prove to be quite popular.

So the relationship that GG have with Rieju is both professional and simple…..Rieju produce the ‘Pampera’ for GG and GG produce the ‘Marathon’ for Rieju.

Bikes will be available from September.
Prices will be announced in September.
