The Fleet
No problem. I like doing it.
New cylinder plating.  Making progress.  He's doing it himself I'm just watching. This has been his project he does need me to help though on somethings.

A little before.
 And after.  Still have some little things to work out. Needs to get rid of the seat cover. Also the stator is having some issues not charging the battery.

So as I stated before I'm having a bit of a stator problem, which is basically an electrical problem. Wouldn't keep the battery charged or the lights going. Wasn't pushing enough juice. Turns out it isn't a stator problem but a regulator rectifier problem. I took the one off my bike to verify the functionality. So I have a new baja designs one on order.

Well we've been doing a bunch of riding as well as getting moved. My son (who rides one of the KLX's) has been saving for a street bike. So he's ready to get rid of the dual sport and go street bike and a woods bike. It'll be for sale later this week. He's getting tired of picking up the heavy bike. I'll then sell my hotrod dual sport KLX as well. No need to keep it if I'm not riding with my son.
We'll be on the lookout for a SV650 or FZ6. That's pretty much what he wants while not going full 600 sport bike. Then I'll do a full rebuild of my KLX and sell it. I just don't feel comfortable selling it with the hours/miles on it.

My 17 year olds KLX is gone. Sold quicker than I expected. Picked up this 2002 SV 650 for him.
 Now my KLX is on the chopping block. I love the bike but I just have't ridden it. Been about 4 months. And since we sold my sons dual sport I just don't see the need to keep it around. So I'll be on the lookout for another GG.
