Dunlop AT81 rear
Tyre opinions are like backsides, we've all got one, but I feel that this is an amazing tyre for Australia, at least.
Incredible traction in changing super flogged out race conditions at Stroud, bull dust, sandstone, basalt rocks, grass track, you name it. Not much mud, just the g outs at the bottom of creeks, but again no change, just lots of drive. Flowing creek with 100m rock garden? Perfect, no spin up at all. Cannot believe the lack of wear, no chuncks, looks like I've lightly sanded the front and rear edges. Team mate had a brand new starcross 5 medium Michelin and had good grip but had way more wear and chuncking on about 25 percent of knobs Great braking, easily modulated. Best rear tyre I've used so far, but the real test will be red clay.
