B&B don't list any gasser plates at all on their website. www.bbaluminium.com.

Are you using a crossover plate?

No, they have them for the 450 GG. I've used and sold a number of them. Give them a call and they can help you. I'd send you one but i'm sure it would be easier where your at to get it from them. Nick

Check out the dealer feedback forum on KTM TALK before you go nuts ordering stuff from Hyde.

I think that may be due to the KTM plates being more in demand. I had the GG combo relatively fast.

I just got this email. I don't know weather to leave my order in or not.
Am I reading it right ? I'm getting a new bike ? :

Your order has been received but due to the extraordinary demand for this item we are out of stock for an estimated 3 weeks. We understand your need to protect your new bike and will gladly refund your payment immediately if you require something sooner.

If your order remains, your part will ship based on the date of the order, oldest being first, and then after all back orders are filled, we will contact the people that wanted to wait until the item was in to order.

Hyde Racing has experienced tremendous popularity in just over a year, we have new molding machines coming on line this month which will more than double production and our new warehouse will be finished this spring, to better serve our loyal customers.

We apologize for the inconvenience.

Thank you
Jay Waalen

Wait the 3 weeks, its winter anyway.

I used to talk to Jay back in my Cannondale days, before he was associated with Hyde. Seems like an alright guy to me, no BS. I guess they just grew faster than anticipated. I assume they are still being made in South Africa?

I have 1 of their plastic skid plates, w/o the pipe guard, on my 300. I wanted an aluminum 1, but couldn't find 1 available by the date that I needed it.

when it came into the dealer, the bike was there for something else, so the guy installed it for me. he said it was a nightmare to install & he ended up scrounging some longer bolts.

it's taken some hits & held up OK so far, except that the pipe got bent back into it & melted a hole in it.

I am not impressed with the Hyde stuff, but that is just my opinion.

I would rather run an alluminum skid plate on my Gasser than a plastic one.

The CRD skidplate from an 06 GG fits the 07s and 08s better than the bike it was designed for IMO.
