Default Gg 144

Seems I read awhile back that gofasters or somebody was toying with the idea of making a kit for 125's , and making them avaiable after the guys in eurpoe did it , if they liked the results.

Was anything decided on that? Did the 144 turn out to be a dud and they decided not to do it? Or is it still in the works?

I think it might be just what I'm looking for for the HAre scrambles .

The guys with the Huskys seem to love theirs.

i think it has been done, theres an ec144 on the european continent thread for sale. you could call gofasters and see what ever happened to the idea, and if you could get ahold of the stuff to do it. i can pm you the number if you want it. they should be able to answer your question.

After letting a piston go too long ( keep those pistons fresh kids !) in my 125, I converted mine. Right away it had way more bottom. This spring I reworked my jetting and now the bike works awesome. All kinds of bottom and rip your arms out on the pipe. It's almost gotten away on me a couple times this year, it's working a little too good. I race both mx and scrambles, in my opinion this bike with the 144 is the ticket. This bike will lug as well as the 200.Altough a kit would be hard to do where you have to clearence the cases for the bigger piston. Piston and ring wear are about the same as stock.

Wasn't it Eric Gorr that had the 144 kit worked up? It wouldn't surprise me. He could whip one up for you even if he hasn't yet done one.

hasslbri is the guy thats going to be racing it isn't he ...

I had e gorr 144 my husky 125 after I popped the top end. I only have one warm up ride on it and still need to get the jetting and suspension dialed .. my initial impression so far is ... HELL YEAH!!!! Obviously no where near the power of my 300, but so easy to throw around in the woods. seems to beg to be flogged. haven't gotten into any of the real techy stuff with it yet. the problem with the husky is it is so damn tall ... one of the first things I thought was ... hmmm wonder how these extra cc's would work on an ec 125??? course jap 125 mx'ers can be had pretty cheap and some handle pretty well .... add some ohlins ttx ..... could be a sweet and cheap ride!! Small bores are where its at!!!
