Hi Rob, looks great.

What about the rear subframe and seat, what year are they?

All the best, Dave.

My first GasGas. Will be out for my first real ride in it shortly...

*Edit* I am back and am very happy with my purchase. That seat is brutal, though!

A little GoPro footage from my first ride on the new (old) bike.

It looks like my 06 has the same plastics and seat. I think it was also updated, but I just picked it up and am just learning about the GasGas bikes.

2005 ec250..Still a work in progress. So far, new levers, rear fender, rest of the plastic needs to be put on. A used but much nicer exhaust that made the bike run way better. Found an aluminum water pump iimpeller when I took the cover off. Came with desert tank which I kinda like. Renthal fat bars. Needs a seat cover (birthday present in a couple weeks) MC style chain guide, got a new throttle I haven't put on yet. Needs a new kicker bad. Won't stay put. I believe it's been raced in the past. Sure looks it. Need to lower the pilot jet, runs rich. Previous owner stuck a 42 pilot in it. I'm going to put a 40 in it and see how it does. Girgles in 1st and 2nd down low. After that it takes off like a rocket. overall I am happy. Traded some of my other toys that were collecting dust. Always wanted another 250 since I stupidly sold my 2000 rm250. Want a skid plate and new kick stater. A good cleaning once spring comes and some degreasing, she will be decent. Old picture. Won't let me upload new one right now. I am sure there is a lot of stuff I'm missing. So far it's been great. Fun bike for the little time I get to ride it up and down my dirt road until the snow melts.

I have a cover for my 2011 that is like new, I took it off when the bike was less than 2 years old. I believe I may have an aluminum skid plate as well.

Inbox me. It will fit right? Do you have a kick starter laying around or know of one that will work?

Some work I did tonight... Took the stator cover off to use some antidepressants seize and realized it is broken. Doesn't affect anything I don't think. There's a piece missing behind my hand. I is just amazed at how small this flywheel was. Smallest I've ever seen. My old piranha 190 even had a bigger fly wheel. She's starting to Clean up. Really hesitant in putting the rest of my new plastics on. The old ones aren't that bad, besides the rear fender that I already replaced... Still looking for a kicker. And shifter and rear break pedal. I'd like some nice anodized black and red pieces. Rear break has way to make play where at the linkage going to the master, and shifter the tip is angled out due to a junk spring. Also just ordered a ton of stuff. Small stuff. I ordered a tusk oil drain plug for a klx650 and decided to put it on tonight. Direct fit. I was phyced. Tonight I ordered new grips, sprockets, bunch of degreasers and chain cleaner. 10w40 case oil, that popular 2 stroke oil everyone seems to love. Mogule 800 or whatever it's called. Really want a light, I still have all the harnesses. It is a ec250. Do the lights run off magneto? I see no place for a battery, anywhere. Something tells me this bike is a mix between and MC and EC. But wiring is all there and just needs to be hooked up to a switch and a light. I don't care about blinkers or tail light because it will never see the road. Last thing on my list is a chain. I'm going to go look at 520s right now and probably buy one.... BTw that motion pro universal throttle worked great. My Domino was a little messed up. But good enough in case I ruin this one. Dammit I keep forgetting to add things. I also raised the clip up one notch in hopes to get rid of the 1st and second quarter/half throttle gurgling. So I'm at the second groove from the top. The plug I pulled out was black and wet. The only plug I had laying around that was brand new was a br9es. But I just ordered another 8. So it's definitely rich. Only down low in the first couple gears, then it takes off like a rocket. I suspect the pilot needs to be changed. Stock is a 40 I believe. Kid thinks he put either a 42 or 46 in it for some good awful reason.

First picture is when I realized the top of the plug is bent. How? I have no idea... Second is how nice and rich she is running. I have my air screw out 3 turns. Putting it in or out really has no affect. I think I'm just going to rip the carb apart and put everything back to factory settings.
