Default Sachs 48

Hi all. I've just bought a second gasgas (am I getting obsessed? The gf seems to think so).

Anyway, it's a 2002 with 2011 wheels, forks and body work. So what I really want to know is, how do the Sachs 48 forks fair against the shiver 45s? There seems to be a lot less information about them on the forum that's for certain. Does anyone know what springs fit and what valving or other mods might need to be done?
