Tried it, couldn't tell the difference - that's on an EC which already has quite a flywheel.

i have a 12 oz on mine and it makes a HUGE diference. much harder to stall, lugs like no other 2t ive ever ridden, does slow throttle response a bit though..
iancp5-what year do you have, i have an 07 ec300 and it didnt have any kind of a flywheel, just a nut.(2 oz maybe..)

I had an 03. The flywheel is that big thing with magnets in, inside the right hand black plastic side case. It doubles up as the stator magnets. I tried a 10 oz weight and it didn't seem to have much effect. When I worked out the difference to angular momentum it was only a couple of percent so not surprised I couldn't feel it. Maybe yours had been fitted with the lightweight motocross ignition, in which case it would be noticeable.
