Buy a bigger bag or a bum bag. A tool kit is essential when venturing into the unknown. Dunno about you but I don't like pushing bikes, even less a bike who's owner hasn't brought any tools.

Bare essential kit would be:

Tyre irons and 21" tube.
Right spanners/allen keys to remove wheels and rim locks, etc.
Screw driver
8, 10, 12mm sockets or spanners.
Spare spark plug and spark plug spanner.
Spare levers (clutch especially)

I carry enough tools to essentially be able to do a top end on the trail. Bit over kill really..

with GG you cannot have a std toolkit because the sizes required differ from bike to bike.

they also use all sorts of sizes, i have recently had to dust off 14mm and a 7mm spanner that i thought i would never use!

why not just stick to 8, 10, 13 like most other bikes i have no idea!!

They are supposed to have standardised fittings a bit more on the 2012.. but I know what you mean..

Random sizes, and thats before you even start getting into fittings. Flat blade, phllips, allen, torque, hex.. I'm surprised they don't have a mix of imperial and metric on em
