For the taillight remove the three 8mm bolts from underneath then the 4 Allen bolts from the top of rear fender, unplug light from harness and unscrew the taillight housing using a torx wrench.

And if you feel like selling the light me know, mine blew.

if remove all of the brackets and the actual tail light it leaves a big opening that leads directly to the air box. not wanting to get dirt and water from the rear tire i left it all on.

Only take out the light itself, should only leave a small 1inch diameter hole that the wires fed thru.

Try LT-Racing he (Les) has done 3 of the GasGas's in our group. I liked what he did for them. Those were the 45 which were a real bear to get to work. The 48 are way better.

this is all well and good for some one 165 but i am quite a bit heavier at 220 and also an A rider so the suspension is a bit soft for me... i probably should have noted this in my original post. i am however just as happy with the rest of the bike as this guy is with his it is an amazing bike. And to anyone on the fence if you have the means buy one.

Another vote for LT. mine has the Zoke 45 fork & Sachs shock, which some consider to be less than optimal. With Les's work, it's the best suspension I've had in 40 years of riding dirt bikes. I'm a fast B (for an old guy), 200 lbs. w/o gear.
