That looked like fun

In the first part of the vid, are you riding through a tree farm of some sort? The trees are way too linear to be natural - at least I think so. And that trail definitely snaked its way through some tight stuff, wouldn't want to miss the mark by much

Liked the log hops - nothing like a few natural obstacles to make it a bit more challenging...lol.

I had to laugh toward the end of the vid..."F$#@ man, I don't know where I am". That's one of the things that worries me about riding solo, and falling off a cliff and being stranded. Were you running a GPS or have some type of trail map to go off? It looked like the trail just kind of disappeared a couple times - that drives me nuts.

Not sure where Simcoe County is - assume that's somewhere in Canada?

Yes the first part is a tree plantation. May look a little boring, but it's suprisingly super-fun to ride. It's a good challenge to keep it flowing through the trees in 3rd gear. The county actively logs these forests. Seems like they're doing away with the plantations and logging them off to allow for more natural mixed forests to re-grow.

Simcoe County is 1-2hr drive northwest of Toronto - yes that city with the obnoxious crack-smoking mayor.

No need for a GPS or map in Simcoe County - not a lot of real 'wild' in this part of the country - for sure it's not like the Pacific Northwest in that regard. Generally, if you keep following the trail you'll make your way to a road. I don't ride that forest tract much and was a little cautious not wanting to drop off a bridge into the swamp below.

Oh ya ... it was a fun ride ...
