Lots of options are a good thing.
I think its pretty cool to have this many Euro off road brands in the business when the Japanese companies have bailed on 2T models.

It's amazing how things have changed so much, yet for me they seem to have come full circle. In my teens I rode Yamahas and Hondas (2&4 cycle) but I wanted a Bultaco/ Husky/ Maico. Later I did buy a '76 Can Am 250. I always liked the Euro bikes. Nowadays almost everything is 4 stroke, mostly Japanese, I have a KDX 220 I'll probably keep forever and I would love to have one of the new Euro two strokes. GasGas/ Beta/ Sherco??? I sold my '02 XC 300 too soon/ too cheap. How soon before we see some the Sherco 2t introduced to the press? Clay, if they're too busy with KTM and the Big 4, send it to me. I'll ride it around, take some pictures and tell everybody how great it is!

That's reallly nice of you to offer to do that for me. I appreciate it! It always amazes me how many guys offer to ride my motorcycles for me!
I don't have a deifinte build date yet on the Sherco 2T.
I have different plans for 2013....rather than using six bikes for support riders I plan to use those bikes for demo rides at most of the National Enduros and other events like the Loretta Lynn's spring ride. Keep an eye on this site because I plan to announce all demo ride events here so that you all can take a ride on a 2013 Gas Gas or Sherco. I think your own personal experience on the bike would be better than reading what a magazine says about it.

It was my understanding that they planned to build the 250/300 first, then a 125 next. The Euro markets don't have the need for the 200 like we do. My plan was to wait until they built they 125, then to ask them to build a 150 and 200 off of that engine platform rather than make a 200 based off of the bigger engine. It's kind of a baby steps thing.

Any specs on the ignition and electronic powervalve? Programable or 2 stage ignition? How about the powervalve, will it have adjustability with a switch or maps pre-installed? Better yet, any chance the powervalve opens in steps or progressively, as opposed to the standard open/shut and the 6+ hp jump over a few hundred rpm?
