You can have some of ours. South East Queensland is supposed to get more than 300mm in the next day or so

The east coast gets loads of snow. Here the snowfall is not bad due to the moderating effects of the great lakes. The days in a row of deep cold and windchill is a struggle. Community help workers do their best to urge homeless people into shelters. Every cold winter several homeless people are found dead (frozen solid). Some folks drop dead from heart attacks while shovelling snow. Just yesterday a small child wandered out of his home in the middle of night. He didn't survive.

Default What's your weather like right now?

Thats a shame. We have had the same weather as the northern states this year and its been tough. It was -12F with a -30F windchill this morning. Was the first time it has been this cold in 50 years!

Here is what a lot of Atlantic Canadians had to deal with after 2 - 3 feet of snow fell with the last storm, combined with high winds.

'Luckily' we only got about a foot, but then it was followed by 3 inches of rain and then a flash freeze.

Just down the hill from me.

For you guys down south that have never had the pleasure of shoveling wet snow, go out side and try and throw a sand bag with a shovel. Renders the snow blower useless.

I'm in the heart of my snowmobiling season still, it's been a little dry so far. Usually by the start of May I can start riding my bike, and sneak off on the sled a few more times... that is a great time of year haha.
