Default A little cold in Minnesota?

I saw all the news on bad weather in the central us and looked at the weather where gofasters is in Minnesota... Yikes.

Night time low : -9 degrees farenheit
Wind chill : -24 degrees farenheit.

It is record lows here in portland, oregon today - it was a relatively balmy 14 degrees when I got up this morning....

11 degrees on my kitchen window this morning at 530AM. I heard 5 degrees in Olympia, Washington. Pretty darn cold for the wet side of Washington.

We did our Wednesday night ride last night on Vedder mountain (Chilliwack, BC) right through the worst of our dry cold snap. It was -9C (15F) and dusty when we left the trucks for the start of the ride at 7pm! Amazing traction on the frozen clay and the hard-as-rock ruts were fun to jump in and out of! No snow yet...

We've been right around 0 degrees (F) in western Minnesota for the last couple days now with wind chills down to -25 (F)to -30 (F). A cold blast for December even for us.

It is supposed to be -24c (-12f) on Sunday here. The snow is very deep, not much riding going on now. But Wed it is supposed to be +3c ( 37F). Chinook ( Indian for "snow eater") happening and maybe the snow will dissappear.
