Just out of curiosity, has anyone ran their pipe with 3 o-rings? Ie 2 in the grooves as designed and an old one pushed up against the spigot to act as a buffer between the pipe and the spigot to stop and metal on metal contact? Would there be any downside to running in this setup? The 2 normal o-rinsg would still seal and if anything the 3rd will crush out to provide a better seal as well as adding a bit more spring resistance.

i have also wondered if the copper washers you get on jap bikes would be able to fit in there? maybe someone can check the sizes and see if there is a crossover
