No Rekluse EXP in sight... :(
This was an email sent to me today when I acquired about the EXP for Gas Gas.
Thanks for your question, No, after extensive test with our partners in Europe (Factory GG Racing), we are not comfortable with the performance and durability of EXP mated with the stock GG components. For this reason we will only be offering Core EXP for GG. I hope this helps. Thanks, "Idaho" Joe Boisvert joe@rekluse.com 208-426-0659 X 716 I wonder he meant by the durability of Gas Gas with this clutch? |

Probably the hub and/or basket. We've all heard a lot about the clutch 'squall' and the various fixes for it. I think the Core EXP comes with a hub and/or basket. Just my thoughts

How similar/dissimilar are the EXP basket and hub to the oem gasgas parts?
Some people fixed the clutch noise by getting more oil into the middle of the hub, I wonder if the EXP parts are just dimensional copies of the oem parts, and the oil 'starving' is still happening because the parts are the same shape, but stronger material? |
