Default 2005 ec300 electric start

My father has knee problems and has trouble starting his bike because of it. Is there a cheap way to put estart on a 05 ec300?

Nope.

I also have knee problems and I’ve looked into it. Better to just get a new bike. It’ll be way lighter too.

Thanks

He's not ready for a new bike yet, maybe in a few years. His knee isn't to bad I was just hoping to help him out a little.

Yeah he's stuck kicking it till he wants a new bike. He's a little over 60 years old so if it gets tired of it he'll just buy a new one. At his age he has decided it's better to enjoy life than saving a few bucks.

He could try a Yamaha 4 stroke 250 kick lever. They are a tad longer, making it a little easier. Like this one:

I just purchased this kit for an 05 250EC: https://www.ktm-parts.com/EE855002510.html

I will not be using the e-start subframe, and would sell it to you at a good price. That way, all you would need to do is buy the other parts which should save you some monies.
