'10 ec250
Guys, I am having a hard time figuring out how to get the plastics off a '10 EC250 in order to get to the shock. Its time to get it to LT for a service, but for the life of me, I can't figure out the airbox plastics. There are two, that fit together, then the actual plastic covering the airbox has external screws and some internal method of holding it to the frame which I can not figure out.
Is there anyone out there familiar with this and can assist with this. I really need to get to the shock, thanks all. Cheers |

No need to remove the plastic. Just remove the bolts holding the lower legs of the subframe, losen the upper bolts slightly. Then loosen the clamp at the rear of the carb and swing the subframe up. Voila!!

Do a search.
No need to mess with the subframe at all. Just lower shock links. |

Thanks for the help, lifting the subframe up from the lower bolts, then loosening the linkage worked like a charm. Took some time due to top shock mount being a little fiddly, but all done, and shock is on its way to LT R.
