Default 2018 swing arm / axle adjuster

My 2018 XC300 did not come with any notches in the swingarm for aligning the axle... anybody else see this on there 2018?

Not the end of the world for me, I still know how to adjust it😉 Just not the attention to detail that I would expect from GG.

Mine don’t have them either. This isn’t a GG part. It’s pretty obvious that they are getting their frames and swingarms from WP. It seems that some have the marks and some don’t. GG and WP both need to step up their QC. I fixed mine by measuring to make sure the wheel was aligned and then using a dremel tool to make a small notch in the swing arm.

Mine was the same, pretty pissed of by that, I measured from the swing arm pivot bolt back to the axle to make sure it was square then used a sharp chisel to notch the swing arm.

I have never used the notches on any bike. Never found any of them reliable.

+1 Always use a tape and measure back from swingarm pivot

Same here.
I just look down the chain from the rear and see if the sprockets are in line.
