Default MC65 has a working alternator

I just thought I'd let the GG community know: The little mx:er Gasgas mc65 has a perfectly working 65W alternator installed. Stock.
It turned out the yellow wire from the coil was just cut an inch in the cable tube. I hooked it up to an outlet, and mounted a 75W halogen spot on my kid's helmet. No voltage regulators, I just let the alternator give its best.

Really nice light.

I would like to get a little GasGas MC65 for a pit bike kind of thing for zipping around our farm on. I reckon they'd be way better than all of those 110cc four stroke things

In my opinion the MC65 has the same quality feel as the rest of the gassers. (except for the steel handlebars).

And this baby ROCKS! It is easily pulling wheelies in third gear with a 100kg bloke on it. (haven't tried any higher gear, dont' want to crash the bike)

But as a pit bike, I don't know. The ergos are made for a 140cm driver and you'll be looking at some serious upgrades to have it comfortable for an adult rider.
