Default #17 and 18




In the diagram for the 250-300 does number 18 the o-ring go outside or inside the seal. I assume it rides on the outside of #17 the bushing. Also how is the bushing supposed to be oriented? It has one end with a small taper on the outside edge, should this face the inside or outside of the engine?

The o-ring goes on after the seal.
The tapered part of the sleeve faces the seal. The bushing is tapered so you don't cut the seal when you install it.

Thank you! Just to be crystal clear the oring goes around the bushing and is held in place by the crank weight gear and nut, correct?
